Deep Cove real estate and the rest of the country

Unfortunately the Cove sales stats are not compared with the rest of the country but it is clear that sales in the Cove, just like the rest of Canada, have slowed substantially-despite how amazing the weather has been lately.  An article in the Report on Business today notes that the Vancouver area has had the worst decrease in sales of anywhere in the country (almost 43%).  Another stat of interest: this is the first year since 1999 where the Canadian real estate market prices are dropping-hopefully the drops will remain relatively minor.  For more information on what is happening with the markets nationally, see: http://www.reportonbusiness.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080715.whousing0715/BNStory/Business/home
